July 4 th Water Restrictions Update

Stage 4 Outdoor Water Restrictions remain in place. Fire ban remains in place.

The city is still gradually flowing water from the Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant through the feeder main and into the rest of the water network, and we are slowly stabilizing our system. Currently it is running at 50% capacity.

The Glenmore Water Treatment Plant is almost done having its much needed maintenance after keeping us afloat alone for so long. This maintenance is expected to be completed Friday July 5th 2024.

Stage 4 Outdoor Water Restrictions remain in place for residents and businesses.

The next milestone is to move from Stage 4 Outdoor Water Restrictions to Stage 3 Outdoor Water Restrictions.

Completion of the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant Maintenance

System remains stable

Move to Stage 3 Water Restrictions

  • There is no timeline on when we will be fully out of Outdoor Water Restrictions currently.

The State of Local Emergency is no longer in place. (No daily updates from city as of today)
